Building medical applications using the Microsoft HealthVault Java library is no longer possible because Microsoft officially shut down the HealthVault service.

All user accounts, developer platforms, and servers were permanently decommissioned, and stored data was deleted. Historically, HealthVault provided an unofficial open-source Java SDK, which allowed applications to communicate with HealthVault servers using cryptographic certificates and SOAP-based web services to parse personal health records (PHRs).
